http://www.sarracenia.com/faq/faq1750.htmlSpecial animals that live inside carnivorous plants. This article has allowed me to know much more about these carnivorous plants. I have always thought that animals who went close to those plants would have been trapped and eaten but after reading this article, i find that some animals actually live in plants! For example, the article wrote that the yellow crab spider lives with the yellow sepals of Darlingtonia and is happy in its carnivorous home, and green lynx spiders on Sarracenia which often hides under the lid, and if frightened scurries inside the pitcher. These special animals do not get eaten by the plants, instead some of these animals feast on these poor, sad, defenseless carnivorous plants as they pull out the preys that was captured by the plants! Stealers! Sadly the article did not mention why those animals did not get eaten by the plants.I have always thought those plants were in a sense bad, but this interesting article just made me change my bad impression of those plants into a sad and helpless plant and starting to pity the plants.
