why do other people hear our voices differently than we do?
When we listen to a tape recording of ourselves talking with some friends,we insist the tape doesn't sound at all like our voice, but everyone else's sounds resonably accurate.

There is universal pattern of rejection of one's own voice.Speech begins at the larynx, where the vibration emanates.Part of the vibration is conducted through the air-that is what our friends heat when we speak.Another part of the vibration is direcetd through the fluids and solids of our heads. Our inner and middle ears are parts of caverns hollowed out by bone. The inner ear contains fluid, the middle ear contains air ,the two press against each other.

Actually ,when we speak ,we are not hearing our voice solely with our ears, but also through internal hearing ,a mostly liquid transmission through the body organs.

From this articles, it explains the reasons clearly, i realise why we always hear our voices differently in the tape.I think that listening to a recording of our voice is like listening a symphony on a bad transistor radio, since the sound is recognisable but a pale imitation. For understanding more about the article ,i also have to learn about the structure of our ears and larynx. This is a small matter in our daily life ,but i believe that not many people find this questioan and get the answer for it ,most of us are not care about it ,i have to pay more attention on the things arrounding us in the future.I think this article is very imortant to us.
